Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or "ALS"

What is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis?

ALS is a disease affecting motor neurons of the brain spinal cord, which causes progressive weakness and atrophy of muscles. A-myo-trophic comes from the Greek language. "A" means no. "Myo" refers to muscle, and "Trophic" means nourishment – "No muscle nourishment."

How can The Perfect Step help make life better?

Different to traditional approaches, we use cutting edge scientific techniques to rebuild brain pathways and reorganize a client’s nervous system. This allows for improvement from a client coming through our doors in a wheelchair to the client regaining motor functions previously believed lost as their time with us continues.

Clients love training at TPS.

“TPS has been far greater than what I even expected, which was initially even a high expectation. The relationships and the networking that I have been able to build and maintain here with the trainers and clients has allowed me to find a home away from home.”
